  Hello NLS Families! Happy LAST week of school - AND LAST week of Grade 5! The time sure is going fast. Hello NLS Families! Today was an exciting day as we went on our Field Trip to TELUS Spark! We had a chance to have a lesson about electricity where we got to test out many different devices, circuits, etc. We also got a chance to explore around the various indoor/outdoor exhibits, which was really amazing! Thank you so much to our volunteers! - we truly appreciate you! See some of the fun we had below! Photos Reminders: May 3 – SPIRIT DAY: Hats on for Mental Health – Students may wear any hat they wish in school that day. May 3 – Little Caesars Fun Lunch (orders due by April 28 through healthyhunger.ca) May 5 – NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS (Non-instruction day)

Hello NLS families! Happy Thursday!  Today we: Completed another closed-list survey, this time we asked 50 people - tomorrow we will graph and analyze our data Played badminton in PE Experimented in science class with types of material and if it’s waterproof, and also talked about why it’s important to check the weather forecast  Talked about confederation in Canada, and also about the famous 5! Reminders: Please bring a white t-shirt to school for tie-dying- if you can bring it by Monday, that would be appreciated!
