  • practiced adding and subtracting fractions
  • did reading, word work and literacy centres
  • had our science electricity check-in
  • began a small social studies research project - see photo below

Hello NLS Families! Today we: tested the "rain gauge" weather instrument - we wanted to see how much rain fell at our school today, so we measured it all day long! It rained approximately 1.8cm during school hours - we left it out overnight, so will see if there is more rain in the morning! - see photos below did another survey and practiced making bar graphs and dot plots - ask me what question I surveyed people about! learned all about climate vs. weather  did a brain break drawing activity - see photo below learned more about Canada after confederation  finished The City of Ember - ask me about it!!
