5C at Northern Lights School

 Today we: -This morning we choose our name rocks to show where we choose to sit during the day. We molded playdough and created something connected to our summer to share with students at our table. - We read the book "Rock Paper Scissors" and then we played ultimate rock paper scissors where you cheer the winners on until you have one ultimate winner! -We learned about each other through a "quiz" about Mrs. Swaroop and partner interviews with a classmate. We then presented our classmate to the rest of the class. -We read "The Day You Begin" and discussed how we should feel at school. This discussion is getting us started to start thinking about the classroom agreements we will create later on.

 Welcome! We are so excited to be starting the 2022-2023 year!  This year, our whole school will continue to use Blogger to make our daily agenda posts. To make it easier for you, you can add the blog right on to the home screen of your phone or iPad by following the directions on the “Adding Blogger to Home Screen” document Mrs. Brinson sent out on August 26 in her first Northern Lights News email. We hope this makes the communication between home and school easier and opens up great conversations between you and your child.
